Astrology:  A method of reading the past, present and future using the age old science of interpreting the movement of the planets based upon the month, day, year, time and place that you were born. 

Angels: Angels are messengers from the divine spirit.  They can take physical form or may work on an astral level.  Angels often act as guardians or guides.  It is said that everyone has a guardian angel.

Aura: A bio-electric field that surrounds all life forms.  An aura reader can see and feel these force fields and interpret them to the client revealing issues that may be out of balance and need harmonizing.  The aura will also reveal information about one’s state of health, one’s personality, and, even, one’s spiritual mission in life.

Chakras: The body has seven energy centers and these are called chakras.  There are colors associated with each chakra that represent a state of health and harmony.  When the body, mind or soul are out of balance the chakras will be blocked and appear as an unhealthy color.  Chakra specialist helps one find where a specific chakra might be blocked and make suggestions or perform energy healing to help the client achieve a state of harmony.

Divination: Divination is the discovery of information that is not readily available to the conscious mind.  It is the way discovering of occult or hidden information.  All psychics do some form of divination in order to guide and help their clients.

Empath:  An empath is an individual that can psychically feel what another individual is feeling and use this information to help another by revealing what is felt at a very deep level.  The empath may actually experience the pain or joy or fear of the person that they are helping.

Feng Shui: Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art of placement.  The goal is to promote the positive flow of chi (energy) in one’s home and environment in order to find harmony and prosperity in one’s life and relationships.  This is a shamanistic form of guidance and help. 

Guru: A guru is a spiritual teacher and guide. Another word for Guru is wise person or sage.

I Ching: The I Ching is an ancient Chinese oracle that one uses to find answers as to what the energy surrounding one is at a certain time so that one can make proper choices about what is the correct action to take.  The reader will use either coins or yarrow sticks to create a hexagram that is then interpreted based upon the writings in ancient scripts which are called the I Ching or Book of Changes.

Intuitive: An individual who can retrieve information about an individual, an event, or question based upon information that is not normally available on a conscious level.  An intuitive person has heightened sensitivity to the energies surrounding an individual.

Indigos: An indigo is a highly evolved individual who is born into the present from the future to help with the evolution of humanity.  Many suggest that these Indigos are actually star seeds from another planet to help us evolve to our highest potential.  Many children being born now appear to be highly advanced and are, in fact, being reincarnated to help bring the earth to a higher form of spiritual expression.  Many parents, who are having difficulty with their children or have children diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, will discover that they have been given the gift of nurturing an indigo in order to help all of humanity.

Light Worker: A light worker is a person who works with others in order to evoke spiritual healing for the individual and for humanity.  These individuals have been given a mission to help with the evolution of man-kind.  All light workers are psychics but not all psychics are light workers.

Medium: A medium is a person who creates a bridge between the physical world and the spiritual world.  Mediums are also called Channelers and can work on a conscious level or go into a trance state where the individual or spiritual source will actually speak directly to the client using the medium as a conduit for information.

Numerology:  Numerology is the study of the occult meaning of numbers and how they affect human behavior.  A numerologist will look at the numbers formed by one’s birth information, the numerical value of the letters in one’s name, and the numerological value of the day.  It is suggested that one date of birth and ones name create a mathematic harmonic that will affect one’s life.

Oracle: An oracle is a method by which an individual can obtain guidance from spiritual sources.  Examples are tarot cards, rune stones, Ouija Boards, pendulums and so forth.  A psychic is an oracle for the client with whom he or she consults.

Psychic: A psychic is an individual with extra-sensory perceptions.  The psychic can use a variety of methods to discover the energy surrounding the person that he or she is helping from Tarot cards, to astrology, to channeling entities, angels or loved ones who have passed over, and so forth.  This is a broad term used to define those who work in the area of spiritual counseling, guidance, and advice.

Reincarnation: Reincarnation is the belief that an individual soul has lived more than one life.  It is believed that souls who have not completed past-life lessons with another soul will be reborn into another body in order to learn from current relationships.  Many conflicts or problems that an individual experiences in a present life may be based on past-life problems or issues and can be healed by recognizing the lessons to be learned from past lives.

Runes: Runes are stones or tiles that are inscribed with ancient Viking or Scandinavian alphabet that have special means that psychics can use for discovering the guidance that one needs today.

Shaman: A shaman is a spiritual healer who helps the client to find a connection between the visible and invisible world.  A shaman will often work with herbs, use drumming and ritual, and vision quests to find answers to the complicating questions of modern life.  Every indigenous culture had a shamanic leader and those who practice today follow many native paths or teachings. They always work with spiritual guides or totem animals.

Soul Mate: A soul mate is any individual with whom one has a spiritual connection from a past life.  This could be friends, family members, lovers, and even enemies.  This is different from a Twin Flame.

Spirit Guides: A spirit guide is an energy form from another dimension that helps humans find answers and guides them to make good decisions.  There are spirit guides in many forms including animals (called totems), divine (which are called angels), humans (ghosts or the soul spirits of passed over family members or friends), or galactic (energy forms from other dimensions or planets).

Tarot: A divination technique that uses cards developed in the middle ages, to find answers to questions posed by life.  There are many different types of tarot decks and ways to lay out the cards to find answers.

Twin Flame: A twin flame is what many people describe as his or her soul mate.  A twin flame is actually the other half of a soul that has been divided by being born into this physical reality.  When twin flames meet it is like the soul is complete again.  One may or may not marry a twin flame.  In fact, one’s twin flame could be a friend, one’s child, or even one’s business partner.  One can recognize a twin flame when a feeling of being complete brings peace to the heart.
